John Everson
Everson Construction Group, LLC. (ECG) was established in 2018 and is a licensed General Contractor offering general contracting and construction management services including but not limited to: pre-construction analysis, schedule generation, owner representation, budget generation and management, document preparation, site supervision, and more. ECG currently handles various commercial projects in the Gainesville area, but is available to service a wide range of project locations throughout the southeast, including Georgia and South Carolina.
ECG was founded by John Everson, a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in civil engineering. He excels in securing contracts and delivering superior services, and his role as Construction Manager involves comprehensive oversight of projects, ensuring schedule adherence, budget maintenance, and quality control. With expertise in commercial construction and renovations, construction consulting, planning, safety management, and more, John drives business development and operational excellence for the ECG team.
Previously, John served as a Construction Manager at Blakeland Construction Services and as a Field Engineer at The Weitz Company, where he managed significant aspects of construction projects and remediation efforts post-Hurricane Harvey. His effective leadership and commitment to excellence were recognized with the “Charles H. Weitz Award for Excellence.”
John’s diverse experience in the construction industry, coupled with his strategic approach to project and business management, makes him a key asset to our team. As a licensed general contractor, he is OSHA 30 and CPR certified, and is committed to sustainable construction through ECATS Environmental Compliance and LEED Green education.
